For most of my life, I believed I was doing nearly everything right. I was a lifelong athlete, a national champion, and someone who had built his identity around health, strength, discipline, and performance. Then came the words I never expected to hear: metastatic prostate cancer.
The diagnosis was serious. The prognosis was sobering. But somewhere between the fear, the statistics, and the decisions that followed, I made a choice that became more important than any single treatment: cancer might be part of my story, but it would not become my identity.
I began searching for the most intelligent combination of nature and science—conventional medicine, integrative strategies, nutrition, movement, mindset, and everything that could help me build the healthiest, strongest, and most purposeful life possible. My goal was never merely to survive. I intended to come out of the diagnosis stronger than I went into it.
That decision became Cancer SurThriver™: a mindset, a mission, and a movement for people who refuse to let a diagnosis become a destiny. This is where my story began. What comes next is the work of helping others write a stronger story of their own.
